Questions Clients Ask Before Starting

A grounded look at the practical concerns that come up when planning a coastal stay, and how the resort answers them.

Before anyone books a beachfront cottage, there are usually a handful of questions that surface again and again. Some are about the water, some about the rooms, and a few about the logistics of getting here with kids or a partner. This post collects the ones we hear most often and gives straight answers, so you can plan with fewer unknowns.

The first question is almost always about the lagoon. Guests want to know whether the water is safe for swimming, how deep it gets near the edge, and whether the infinity pool is separate from the lagoon itself. The lagoon is shallow along the resort boundary and is more for the view and the breeze than for swimming. The pool is where most guests spend their morning laps, and it stays at a comfortable temperature through the day. For families, the shallow end of the pool is clearly marked, and life jackets are available on request.

Another common question concerns the water sports packages. People ask how long each ride lasts, whether there is an age limit, and what happens if the sea is rough on the day of the booking. Jet ski rides run for about fifteen minutes with an instructor seated behind you, and the minimum age is twelve. Banana boat rides are gentler and suit children above six, provided they can wear a life jacket comfortably. If the coast is too choppy, the activity desk reschedules rather than cancels, and the credit stays on your booking.

Meals come up next. The multicuisine restaurant serves fresh coastal seafood, but the kitchen also handles vegetarian and Jain preparations without fuss. Breakfast is included in direct bookings, and the spread changes daily, with local breads, fruits, and eggs cooked to order. For guests with allergies, the chef is available before service to walk through the menu and adjust dishes as needed.

Finally, there is the question of getting around. The resort arranges airport transfers from Goa International Airport, and the drive takes about an hour and a half. Scooter rentals are available at the front desk, and the tour desk can help with local sightseeing, sunset cruises, and dolphin-watching trips. Most guests find that a mix of one organised activity and a few free hours by the pool is the right balance for a short stay.

If you have a question that is not covered here, the team at the front desk is reachable by phone or email, and they usually reply within the hour during daytime.
